Played all of his youth football at full back and I think it's his best position

Dixon at fullback is a great idea, but who then plays on the wing?

I think this season Dorn will be fullback, its his best position with Dixon on wing. Dixon is similar to Dorn so will switch to fullback when Dorn leaves. If Witt is injured/loses form then we can do the switch? Robertson also is a full-back so its a position we have well covered - and dont forget Melling who is more than capable, but not as dynamic

Full Backs do more these days than bring the ball back. Some teams seem to be playing a less capable ball handler at 13 and using the 1 as the other ball player. Bailey at 13 for Leeds as an example with Webb being a ball player.
Tomkins is used as a ball player at Wigan. Does Dixon have that level of skill? Dorn offers that extra capability currently.

I suppose Robertson and Colbon could be the wingers. If Dixon is at FB then Dorn is at 6 - therefore no Witt. When I asked TR at HAC who would be kicking he said tellingly "It depends who is in the team" !

Unfortunately, not a solution given that Colbon will no doubt spend most of the season on the treatment table

O'Callaghan is another option for the wing.

well, after watching 25 minutes of him against Toulouse (yes I know it's 'only' Toulouse) but he was superb - had pace to burn breaking through even on the heavy pitch - a really good performance well supported by the others - his replacement Oscar Thomas came on at fb and was outsatanding IMO - jez, you have some awesome kids at the Broncos

a cracking game and the 0 - 34 scoreline is fair but doesn't describe how well Toulouse really played - they had 7 academy lads in their depleted squad and they produced a great team performance

great entertainment lads - heres' looking forward to the Catalans game
