looks like it is going to be a long hard season ahead in may ways both on and off the field. Widnes had a good following and looked to have more supporters than london when they all stood up every time they scored. Apart from Dixon and Dorn, dare I say looked like a tired display especially in the first half. Oh well Huddersfield next week and should be fun

It was pretty much disastrous. The main thing is keep Gower safe from injury - he goes off injured after 30 minutes. Our main weakness is in the centres - our only experience centre goes off with a broken arm.

It will be difficult to achieve much unless these two problems are addressed pdq!

Howell looked like he broke his arm- 2 centres short now- Widnes scored 3 tries down the other side to Howell today

Why did he take Witt off

I hope we havent lost Witt, Dorn and Gower

No really there seemed to be loads sat behind the barrier and spread around the ground. I would like to know how many Widnes claim to have brought down to the match.

We bought 1,007 tickets. Not sure how many paid at the gate.
