Don't despair all you in Broncoland. When I was up in Salford at Xmas, all my Salford supporting relatives thought the game was up and their club was no more and look at them now! Where there is life there is hope, but what are peoples strategies for sitting through 14 more home games this season?

It will be a little like an old peoples home, you never know who won't be there at the next home game. Yes, gallows humour by far the best way to go!

The only club beneath us.

Granted that will probably not last beyond next weekend.

My strategy for the next one is to stay home, watch it on Sky and thus save about £30 and 5 or 6 hours.

Here's one for you.......and I wouldn't call it tiny.......our reserve team, the U19's have lost their first 3 games by a total of only 12 points......could easily have been 3 wins in what were high scoring and very entertaining games. This team, the product of all the hard work done by the Community and Academy staff, will get their just rewards this season for their effort, commitment and talent.

Well their just rewards have come sooner rather than later...........

A strange game. London went into an 18 - 0 lead in the first 15 minutes (3 converted tries).

Wigan slowly got back into the game to level the scores(4 tries 1 goal) but bombed three or four chances.

Then London kicked a penalty with about 5 minutes to go to win the game.

Observation, London were physically a lot bigger and took their chances well. The scrum half kicked superbly both at goal and in general play. I didn't get a team sheet so don't know his name.

The Wigan lads seemed fitter, London tired late on.

An excellent win for London.

Don't recall ever hearing the first part of that and not often the second.
