These two are all but confirmed as signing for us, what are your thoughts on them? What positions do they look best in?

Sarginson potential, but poor defender. Clubb - genuinely surprised at your interest. Again he can be potentially a decent player but has under-performed and been very injury prone in last year or so

Clubb good prop or 2nd row, will improve your squad, consistent and full of heart. Better than Powell!! If you play him at centre you're insane.

Sarginson, jury's out, imo he can't defend well at SL level, lightweight, doesn't read game all that well, occasional sparks of skill. There must be better kids in Wigan area.

Sargy came on the scene and showed promise, but under the various coaches at London simply hasn't developed. Speaking to his dad and brother after the CCF they told me that was precisely why he was moving on, he was never going to develop at London. If your coaches can teach him to tackle he could be a good signing.
Clubby was a passable second row, too slow and immobile for a centre. He's gone downhill since then. Can't fathom why you'd be interested, especially as you'll have to buy out the remainder of his contract (assuming that the muppets at London remember to ask for a compensation payment).

Plenty of players have developed perfectly well at the Broncos. Too easy to blame the coaches.

You obviously haven't watched Clubb play in last couple of years.

Re Sargy = agree with other comments.

Re Clubby - I think he could become an excellent prop or a modern loose forward (extra prop) - plenty of bulk, determination, aggression, ball handling OK. But I've been saying that for years. Fitness has been an issue recently though.

I'm a season ticket holder, and I've never left a game early. Trust me I have seen enough.
Clubby has gone nowhere, and I do blame the coaching.
I blame Brian Mac for his obsession with buying second rows.
I blame Rob Powell for the general malaise and acceptance of failure being OK (though, and I realise I may be in a minority with this opinion, I am prepared to cut Powell some slack on the basis that he was thrown in at the deep end by Mr Hughes and was clearly out of his depth).
I blame Tony Rea for not being able to chivvy them up.

Clubb's been good in every game he's played and often the best player in the side so I don't know what you were watching.

We'll see with Sarginson, my bet is he'll be playing full time in the Champs within 2 years.

Just to be clear Tre, I haven't at any point said Clubb was rubbish, or that he didn't have good games.
What I DID say is that he didn't develop and went backwards. If Wigan can do something with him, good luck to him and Wigan, but I can't see the potential. But then again I'm not a professional scout.
