The next meeting is only mid January, the RFL seem to be standing firm on the league structure and mid season split? the feeling is they may give Super League Clubs some control on their own control, but the League structure must go through!

The RFL still seems to think they should not be questioned with their decisions, they are on control, are they elected?

Things is sog, is that everyone seems to think that we've only been thinking about building a squad over a short few weeks period. People were carrying on at the club aiming for next year without everything being set in concrete.

Firstly, I must have been dreaming then when I told Gus I had heard a rumour there was no relegation in 2014 and he said that was the first he'd heard of it.
Oh, hang on, nope....there it is in my phone from last Friday.
As it stands, there are 2 teams going down at the end of 2014 and any recruitment would need to take that into account, regardless of what we all suspect will happen.

In regards to recruitment and the 2nd year, the press releases I have read make no mention of Kleanthous investing in the club in 2014...he welcomes us to his facility, but he doesn't mention buying into or investing in us. He does say he'd hope to help market us, but given his soccer team average 1,800, I'd take his "help" with a pinch of salt I understand that there is an option for him to invest open in 2015 and as such, I'd be very concerned about recruitment for the next 27 games because if we are crap and if we are crap at home in front of 2k gates, then he won't touch us with a second hand barge pole!

If they've been carrying on as if the clubs was going to continue why are we still waiting to hear anything from them? If they were that prepared they could have released all sorts of info since the Friday announcement - new shirt, ticket details, etc, etc. We've not even had an update on the website!
