20 last year then , 14, 13, 16 and 20 points have been the point tally for 12th place in SL over the last 5 years of Licencing and a 14 team competition.

If the RFL confirm that it's 2 down to at the end of the year, then I reckon we will need 18 points to stay up....9 wins.

London, Widnes, Wakefield, Castleford, Bradford will all be scrapping like hell to stay up....HKR, Catalan and Salford will be scrapping over the last 2 spots in the 8 and the others will make up the top 6 in some order or other, so we realistically need to look at the other 4 teams in our "relegation fodder" section to pick up wins. Anything less than 4 home wins and at least 2 away wins against them and I think we'll be in the crapper......Widnes on the opening day is a massive game, as is the first home game, because we will need to pick up wins against that middle table group too. Realistically, we need to be on no less than 8 points by the end of March to stand any chance.
Bradford twice, Castleford, HKR and Saints were where we got our wins last year
Castleford twice, Wakefield, Widnes, Salford, HRK and Wire the year before...and it was Wire's B side IIRC pre cup final.
Yes me may pull off the usual "shock" result this year but even if we do, we will need 8 more wins.

We have a mountain to climb that’s for sure. If we don’t finish in the bottom 2 then TR will have worked miracles.

IF we do pull it off, and it will not be an easy task, with the full squad still not together, I feel it may be down to Longy as much as TR, the young guys seem to be real identifying with him, and the skills he is passing on to them.

I see this morning three players from Leeds on their way down.

Salford and Castleford are much stronger this year too.

We'll have to hope Wakey, Bradford and Humberside Roversharks have a nightmare year.

I really don't think they are but that's just personal opinion.

What would be your starting 13 with the current crop of players you have?

We only have 13 players!! Cas will make top 8 imo.

Avoiding the bottom 2 will take a miracle but im hoping these young guys who want to make their mark will pull out all the stops for the club and who knows what will happen with the former GB star half back coaching them. If they pospone P&R for this season then maybe we can recruit better in 2015 and push ourselves higher up the league. After that its anyones guess....
