Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 - Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader. Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward. Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I? Update on Quins Mogs :- Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo. Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas. Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9. Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.
Anyone else fancy it? Think we'll stay somewhere a bit more sedate like Lytham.
You will get no better Hotel than Village Heron's Reach (DeVere) next to Blackpool Zoo, superb golf course, gym, pool, set in it's own grounds so far from the road, and they do good prices at weekends! I use it a lot and never feel I am in Blackpool.

Sounds good (haven't been to Blackpool for 10 years but I hear it is in decline, sadly).
So many resorts are in decline, Southport is as bad a Blackpool and that used to be classy! When we stay at The Herons' Reach we rarely go into Blackpool centre, perhaps once, just use it as a base. The Blackpool ground is good now and will make it an event for Championship Clubs.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Just asking as I just cant see the event working, another 1 season wonder from the RFL
I'd fill a smaller , simpler , more local venue 1 st with cheap transport then look to build from there
But that wouldnt suit the RFL prawn butty brigade
It's another RFL response to clubs outside of SL moaning the lack of anything for them. Funnily enough (and I don't know why) I think London fans will travel in bigger numbers next year.

And yet they've dumped this years NRC when it was building as an event ( especially at Blackpool )
But a cup final ( albeit minor ) is a much more attractive proposition than a league match
I hope they do, probably because they should, SHOULD, be more competitive and winning things

someone once said "YOU'LL WIN NOTHING WITH KIDS"...I hope they were wrong, because looking at the squad being assembled for next year, we will be the youngest team in that division by a long stretch.
