I have been told that the list of players retained for next season will be out at some point this week.
There are some we know are leaving, Oscar for one. Others we can guess will be going.
It will give us an idea of the direction the club will take next season. When we will have Hendos squad.

Squad size will be interesting.

This year we went small squad, blend youth/experience.

Next year I hope we increase squad size, and as such retain a lot of potential, but add experience, so the young blokes can develop at the correct pace.

Thomas and Mathers confirmed, I suspect Nasso and Farrar can be added to the list, along with loan ends for Minchella and Walker. Not been convinced by either Riley or Dollapi but they played very well v Workington, so maybe playing for a contract.

We know Battye, Offendahl and Stapleton to come, a decent half and hooker would be an absolute requirement.

Minchella was on a season loan from Leeds . Rumour is he is also off to Bradford.
Not surprised about Mathers, I would hope we could get some Super League players in. We seem to have room in the squad.

Seems that Wes is staying. Hendo said that he should be fit in time for pre-season.

I would be pleased if he did stay. Just a shame he is injured. I do not think he should have played against Hunslet.

Also if I'm correct, including new signings we already have 22 players signed up for 2016.

I don't think he is - if I recall he signed a 1 year contract, but it might be like Foster and Minns last year.

That gives 23. I think we may see 1 or 2 academy promoted so I reckon a squad of around 29/30 meaning space for a few signings. Rumours heard so far are Channing, Groat and Clark.
