So Leigh have now signed Rangi Chase in addition to Harrison Hansen. This is on top of Cory Paterson and Reni Maitua. Remembering that they still have Hock and
Higham. Surely these players alone will take up most of the salary cap. We must also consider that they have appeared to retain the bulk of their 2015 squad.
The RFL need to look into this, they must not be allowed to ignore the cap, however unfair they believe its is. Rules are rules. Fines are not enough. They must have points deducted and a serious amount of points.
Here we are dithering about signing Sean Morris, due to salary cap restrictions, with Leigh signing players with apparently no regard to it.
Nigel Woods needs to get up off his fat backside and set about pulling Leigh into line. Earn your 200k Salary Nigel and implement the rules, they are there for a reason, you put them there, apply them.

If you want to play in Super League you need Super League players.

Rules are made to be broken. Or at least bent.

I can understand Fax or Fev getting bent out of shape over this but it really is no concern of Broncos.

Super League might as well be played on the Moon as far as we're concerned.

Although I shouldn't go giving David Hughes ideas even if jaybs would back a lunar expedition to the hilt.

If Bradford do not get promoted, they will be the ones who will kick up. No love lost there.

Hock, Chase, Paterson and Maitua all have "interesting" histories. Must be a chance of implosion there

If he's over the cap and it very much looks like he is, then I hope the RFL demote Leigh to Championship 1 if the rules allow. Halifax, Sheffield and Bradford went into the middle 8's with as much chance if not less than Leigh and all three performed very well. The Leigh club as a whole, in their chairman, their "legendary players' and a fair chunk of their fans were overconfident and only started to whine once the wheels came off....I sincerely hope they get the book thrown at them because the cap is there for all of us.
Leigh are becoming the Salford of the 2nd tier in more ways than one.....what was once a nice little club is getting a nasty reputation on and off the park!

To add to there woes the model isn't sustainable as at best even in SL they would get average crowds of less that 4000. History shows they are a small club surrounded by bigger clubs

Plus they would be a lower tier club fighting in the middle 8s each year trying to stave of relegation.

That would be the Broncos fate if Hughes hadn't thrown his toys out of the pram.

Sounds okay to me.

Certainly preferable to playing Batley on a park pitch in front of 200.
