Huddersfield are up next. They played Batley at the weekend and although they ran away with the game in the first half. Batley actually won the second half.
The winning margin was only thirty points. This must be encouraging for us, I believe we have a chance of winning there and setting ourselves up for the MPG.

I hope your right, but I think we have a poor record there? However they have had a poor season and lack confidence, we need Soward and Barthau to get their kicking game sorted, it was a clear weakness against Leeds. We also need every forward running and tackling their hearts out!

The squads suggest we'll have too much for you. Home advantage also well in our favour.
Thought your forwards handled Leeds well so I'm sure you'll give it a good go.
You're catching us at a strange period where we still probably don't have the best confidence but have won comfortably.
Get us early with some tough mentality and it could be a very tough close game.

I think Batley have done you a disfavour. The second half loss over there will have brought us back to earth for that first half drubbing we gave them.

Guess that there a quite a few who would have made it to Huddersfield had they not changed it from Sunday to Friday.
I know that there are a number of us staying in the Travelodge. It is a real pain travelling up on a Friday.

Wanted to do at least one of the away games in the 8s, what with work commitments, family stuff etc.. Hudds on a Sunday was the one. Til it got moved!

We won the first half very comfortably against Batley- too comfortably- then it was a case of switch down a few gears up hill when we know we have the game won. Not a mentality I'm happy with TBH. We were also without our two main strike players brough and Jerry who should both be back on Friday unless it's decided to keep them fresh for the game away at Leigh. I will be very disappointed if we don't win this comfortably but if London hit hard early it could rattle us so I'm not confident.

If you are going on Friday to Huddersfield, buy your ticket in advance, collect them on the day at the booking office to save a transaction fee.

Looking at the squad we have named, obviously with the exception of api I think it's the strongest like up we could have.

Anyone think we could cause an upset?

i think we have a pretty poor record against them, so not hopeful. But if we can keep it close then i feel Hull KR and Salford are winnable!
