IMG Announce Proposed Criteria for Super League 2025 IMG today presented to the RFL Council the recommended grading criteria to define how Super League, RFL Championship and League One clubs will be assessed starting from 2025, as part of the Reimagining Rugby League plans. If only we could have foreseen that poor on field performance might have some consequences. What were the chances of that. Luckily we threw everything at growing crowds and additional revenue streams. SL here we come.

I suppose clubs in the North have little capacity to really grow crowds. We on the other hand have very few so the potential has to be much greater. Clutching at straws here though.

Looking at most of the criteria, we would appear to be struggling on most. Thought more points might have been awarded for catchment area. Luckily we have a savvy social media team driving our engagement strategy.........

We put all our eggs in the quality-of-bobble-hats basket. Which doesn't seem to be anywhere in IMG's criteria. Shocking!

I saw this coming. Although I did think they might wrap it into a general ‘efficiency of ‘commercial/merchandising’ metric where our prompt issue of a wide range of T-shirt’s and replica shirts coupled with an exponential growth in sponsors post move to SW London would have had us in clover. Very harsh.
