Some of that, though, is general hilarity at the awfulness of Warrington just now (which I can see the point of but I still feel sorry for Wire fans at the moment).

The Superleague Show did discuss how well Quins played, btw, though they did first call Warrington's performance 'rubbish'!!

We played Salford on Friday and only scored 38 points because Saints are not playing well. Quins managed to score 60 against opposition playing at about the same level as Salford. Quins are playing better than Saints are this season and it was very obvious (to me anyway) that Quins are a different team this year when I watched your game against Wigan (damn shame you lost that). Your skill level is higher, your guys look to be gelling well and they seem to be playing with real purpose and enthusiasm. All that looks good for you and I hope you do get to a final. Based on your performance so far, you deserve it.

sorry didnt post it earlier. well done to a very good quins team. made warrington look very poor, good luck for the rest of the season. to be fair on another point, I dont know what more your team can do other than keep winning to try and increase ur attendances. the team deserves better. it may be a good growth sport at amateur level but not transfered to ur super league team. its not as if ur a celtic crusaders just starting out. hope u can attract more as ur club deaserves for all the efforts over the years, and again well done Quins best team won and scoreline didn,t flatter it was a true reflection of the game.

Yeah, but nowadays you don't even have your own ground.

Being from the north west of England myself, I find fans who adopt your attitude really embarrassing. It's easy being a big fish in a small pond, but you have perhaps forgotten that London has 6 million population, it has every known sport vying for attention and the Quins club is located in a rich part of town where the rugby shade is very definitely Union. I think one of the best things to happen to Quins in terms of getting their message out will be the link with St Mary's and I think the other best thing to happen to Quins is to tonk Warrington at home. They should have tonked Wigan too and but for an oops moment by Mr Randall they would have done.

I'd like to see Quins at the Challenge Cup final. That would make it almost impossible for London, the BBC and fans of your ilk to dismiss what they are working so hard to do in the big smoke.
