I think you were probably just unlucky. Quins union shirts are often seen at our games; on one occasion I was stuck in a big crowd of union fans at the station going home from the Twickenham Sevens when we'd just won a home game at The Stoop and a load of Quins union fans were asking how "we" got on and were delighted we'd won.

There are probably RL supporters who would do the same. I think most people who watch any code of football are reasonably open-minded towards the others even if they don't appreciate the finer points of a rival code.

Leicester Tigers fans are a very different breed to Harlequins supporters in my experience. I think that was the only issue tbh.

Dave Lister. If you're correct in your assumption, then all I can say is:- "Good luck to 'Bath Rugby' in their Guinness Premiership semi-final". And Quins of course.

LOL...I think they are rather fetching! I recall having something similar in my youth, 25 or more years ago as I was big Jam fan and Mr Weller often sported one. I was ok prancing around Leigh and Wigan in mine so i'm sure you'll be fine in Salford!
