The problem London have in the outside backs is that relatively few of the players brought through in the past two years have genuinely desirable attributes such as good size/height, strength, speed, tackling ability and try scoring ability.
In some squads Channing could be an asset as he has a lot of heart and good technique and he could play well alongside Carney at Castleford.
For London, I suspect the era of persisting with small men and guys whose physical potential is limited is coming to an end. I reckon Tony will be looking to bring in guys who start at close to six feet tall and a 14 stone minimum and work to build em up but be prepared to risk losing them if they don't progress physically.
After all he wants them to be physically capable of carrying out his instructions.
