The RFLs planned restructure seems to spell it out loud and clear - either relegated or dead by the end of 2014.

The whole thing is very depressing, the sport in this country seems determined to do everything it can to become nothing more than a training ground for the NRL and rugby union. Think of the choice facing a talented 22 year old who has progressed through the Academy and Super League structure. A small, provincial back water competition in the north of England or the genuinely glamourous NRL or international union? Some choice.

Sad times for this club and the game in general.

Re: A very gloomy Tony Clubb on Boots n All : Thu Jul 11, 2013 10:33 am
It was an appalling interview, and reflected all that is bad and rotten at the London Broncos.

There are two individuals who should be made to front up on Boots n All and answer directly viewer's questions.

Firstly Mackay, the information vacuum is embarrassing, if he's not going to front up at a Fans Forum, well he should get his sorry backside in front of Hemmings and answer questions on the club future ? the plan going forward ? what ground options are on the table ? why the apparent lack of harmony in the playing ranks ? the appalling coaching ? why no marketing ? why love all .......

Next up Wood, what the love is this bloke doing ? He is presiding over a shambles of a game and London Broncos are a leading light in that shambles.

Deeply depressing at every level - and agree the information vacuum is appalling. Didnt see interview, but disappointed if Clubb talked in such a negative way. At least try and go out with a bang rather than a whimper!

I wonder what Hope London Skolars & Hemel Stags have in this new world with Big Nigel, I don't see much future.

Your big clubs Leeds & Wigan will have no worries at all, they just want to see the monies taken from the relegated teams and relocated to the other clubs so they get richer.

Clubb has let the Broncos down badly.

It appears that there is no real interest by the administration, the clubs, or the fans, to go beyond the M62. Yet they expect the same media coverage as bigger sports. I bang on and on about it, but it remains true that just about all involved are 100% parochial. Don't expect too many tears up north if London bite the dust.

I would have thought the restructure of SL would help us. Rather than missing out on a licence we could play in the second tier, get our house in order and then get promoted, not having to wait around for another licence period which , I think if we did loose we would not get back for some time. If it was not so tragic it would be funny the complete booty up that is LB and RL in general

Funny how the management and administration of sport attracts those who know absolutely nothing about management, administration, or sport....

Nigel Woods has ruled over failure the past few seasons, not just lack of major sponsors for the game and the clubs let him loose in this way! I see clubs going into admin trying to retain their place spending monies they do not have, also clubs getting promoted spending too much.

But I just can't believe what may happen to the second tier, we are going backwards!

Not sure I'm bothered much longer, it surprises me with Tony Clubb yesterday being so negative before such a big game, but we have no real clue what is going on.

Big Nigel will rule over the destruction of the game, what did he really for for Halifax when with then, in fact what did Ralph do with his club?

Twickers again will have the last laugh!

You are right. Big Nigel will rule over the destruction of the game, just as he almost did with his old club Halifax.

You are completely right, I dealt with too many Club Chairman and their small town parochial attitude was unbelievable.

Yes most of the websites are calling for our blood and feeling good riddance! fancy having to travel 3 hours, the novelty of a day away has gone! and also Salford & Dr K, I wonder if he regrets the day he met Big Nigel on a plane! and he conned him into saving Salford!
