I understand your frustration, but to be fair the RFL are a bit busy on the ticketing side at the moment what with a world cup about to start and multiple ticket transactions to process. Not to mention the other domestic divisional finals. No need to panic just yet!
If your tickets haven't arrived by your desired date(!), you have a booking ref for your ticket transaction, ring the RFL and tell them your tickets are not with you and they should arrange for you to pick up a new pair at the matchday ticket office. The biggest inconvenience to you is you will have to arrive earlier and queue with other victims.
IIRC this happened to me at the recent Wembley double header. My Tickets hadnt arrived in the week leading up to the big day. I made a phone call and was advised to head for the ticket office on match day armed with identity and booking reference. Queue on the day wasn't too long. This time it probably will be....
No, I don't work for the RFL, but they must be up to their necks in the Ticket Office. Those at the top of the tree the Rimmers and Woods (pardon the pun) are deserving of brickbats for their own ineptitude and inabilty to run the game. Feel free to give them a hard time not the Workers.
My Double Header Tickets for Rugby World Cup 2013 Semi-final arrived last week, along with slick promo book for all the other matches and Venues. On the positive side what a fabulous festival of Rugby ( both codes) we have coming up this autumn.
