So....we have no ground, no confirmed investors who I suspect require certain assurances from the RFL before they commit, no squad to speak of, not allowance to recruit more foreign players and apparently, from the end of this month, no more funds with which to pay our admittedly small wage bill.
The RFL have said they will not discuss anything (in public at least) until after the RLWC 2013, which ends about 30 days after we run out of cash. I suspect that Bradford's new owners will be ratified shortly, as the RFL need to protect their investment, but other than that, I believe they will be quite content to let us disappear.
Now, as passionately as I have defended this club from assaults and attacks by the northern masses over the years, I am actually of the opinion that it might be best if we were consigned to the knackers yard now, rather than have this doubt hanging over our heads.
Jaybs and co....I admire your optimism and your belief that we will be OK, but in reality, it is my belief that we are dead in the water.
The annoying thing in all this is that although the RFL are about as much use a chocolate tea pot, they did warn the club a number of times about sorting out certain things that, if we had listened, would have prevented the current situation.
