Not sure you have these figures right Torbreck. The seats with best view are West premium which are £29pm Adult, £15 Concession.
I make £29 + (3 * £15) = £74pm
Which is £518 for the 7 months.

Hows does that compare to watching other super league clubs? I have no idea of the cost of watching RL so it's hard for me to know whether this is good\bad.

D'oh! You're right, £518 is correct. Seems I did 45x29 not [45+29]x7. Thanks  Anyway I'll probably just buy 1 adult + 1 U19 membership this season and buy walk up tickets for the 2 others when needed.

If you do this then it's best to buy the concession tickets online before the day of the game as you get the 15% discount from your membership making them £12.75 instead of £15. It only needs to be the day before the game as tickets are emailed or can be scanned from a smartphone so there is no postage or collection issues.

You also have to watch out for the fact that concessions are only available in the family sections if bought on the day so you would have to pay full wack if you wanted them to sit in West Premium and hadnt bought in advance.

I'm not sure what option I will be taking as its a bit confusing. I'm sure it will become clearer in time.

OK, thanks. Also 'Parking Memberships' at £10pm is more expensive than the £5 per match parking fee currently asked even if you go to all 13 home games.

That does seem daft :)
It made sense for the football where you have 30+ home games including cups etc.
tbh unless you can only walk short distances then there is plenty of free off street parking on Honeypot Lane which is 10 min walk away.

Re: the Hive - Ticketing : Thu Jan 16, 2014 9:33 pm
It seems that working the pricing for 3 areas it is not worth being an full adult ST holder if you are going to watch 11 games or less. The walk up ticket would be the best option for you. I fail to see what an adult Hive Membership ST offers as the £2pcm (adult) charge pretty much cancels out the 15% ticket discount over our 13 home games. With the U19 full concession ST you would have to miss 7 games to lose over the walk-up pricing out but it is still a massive leap up from the £20 annual ST I paid last year. The ST price includes the joining fee and the off-season charge meaning year 2 would be cheaper if prices remain the same if you don't cancel your membership.

Thanks for that working out. Was wondering how many games you would have to go to before the membership became cost effective.

Sadly the answer is none, the adult membership is not cost effective for the whole season.
Taking the first of Torbrecks examples:

You could have membership for five months to cover 10 games March to July. Pay full price for Febs game and buy the Aug and september tickets while you are still a member in July

Eg. North terr
Bronco member Adult March- July + joining = £132

You buy the August and Sept Tickets in July and so get a 15% discount so the only full price ticket you pay for is Feb.

Total Adult cost for season -
17 + 132 + 29.10 = £178.10

By doing it this way it's not only cheaper but you also have the choice whether you go to the first and last 2 games. I think by copying the Barnet Football pricing structure they have misjudged this.

So we move from the STOOP to save money and pay more with none going to the club. First question at the fans forum is why is GUS still employed!
