That’s a very good question and funnily enough it was one which David Hughes asked from the floor.

Mike Ford just didn’t have an answer, but Martin Offiah more than made up for this has he referenced a very reliable source who said the Broncos were homeless in 2015. He then went off on a slight tangent, telling us lots of interesting but useless and irrelevant facts (most people fell asleep to be honest), none of which backed up his claim we were to be homeless. Shaun Edwards on the other hand was very upbeat about the club, the future and the number of decent players coming through the system and was hopeful that we would be at the Hive in 2015 and many years beyond.

Think its quite funny, I do feel for Joe, and he honestly looked embarrassed BUT we all seem happy to accept that he does not have the tools for the job at hand, spookily when that was suggested for Rob Powell tenure it was nothing to do with the squad he had but how he motivated them, I do believe that year we did the double over Leeds.
Don't get me wrong not suggesting it's Joe fault but d looking back were we not a bit harsh on RP

As for the Q and A session I was not their so can't comment, which Mike Ford was this and why should offish or Edwards have any knowledge of if we are welcome at the Hive next year or not

The 17 first choicers that Powell had available to him would stick 50+ on the current first 17. Powell was out of his depth and Hughes refusal to admit as much QUICKLY is a contributing factor as to why we are relegated this year.

Lest we forget. The appointment of Powell and Gus nearly killed this club!

funny he was coach of the month the first month he was with us!

Just pointing out we seem to be a pretty fickle bunch apparently Brian Mac was garbage as well

When Mac was binned it was the right decision for the club, irrespective of what he has done at Leeds. Lest we forget he went there initially as an assistant. The problem was we didn't replace him with a coach of a decent standard with either SL or NRL experience

I freely admit to thinking Mac's strengths lay in "motivation" rather than technical coaching. I still believe that but also concede that you don't win the trophies Leeds have under him purely through motivation. He does have a great leader on the park though.

As for Powell's "coach of the month" award.....I'll counter that with some statistics....get that stunned look off your face!

47 SL games and 5 Challenge Cup ties under his stewardship.

In the Cup 5 cup games...we beat 3 lower division teams and lost to Leeds and Hudds, whilst in 47 SL ties, we won 9 and drew one.....losing 37. Not sure about what you deem as a successful or good coach, but the term "one swallow doesn't make a spring" does spring to mind when it comes to his first month.....where by the way, 4 of his 9 wins came from.....remove the first 5 games from 2011 and his winning ration drops to a staggering 12% in 42 SL games.

Hey.....to counter this, he was on an 80% win ratio for that first month
