Krasniqi and Dollapi have to stay surely? Would be spot on in the Champs next year, can't see another SL side wanting them either?

yeah....because that's been the case for the last 19 years. I can't think of many players other than Purdham and possibly Sykes who "benefited" from coming south.

I think you miss my point. We have always been at the bottom of the SL food chain and as a result not very attractive for a decent standard player full time northern based player - with the exception of Purdham, Sykes, Melling, Smyth, Hammond, maye 1 or 2 more.

Now we are in the middle of the pro / semi pro rugby league food chain and therefore will be more attractive to a few from the middle level and part time players.

btw GF, did you listen to the podcast and JL comments on The Hive ?

Also what i dont understand is we have anew assistant coach and are signing players on two year contracts - so does that mean we have a plan and a ground? or am i hallucinating and this is all smoke and mirrors and the club will fold and all the contracts will be torn up? I am getting very confused

There is definitely a plan. Championship contracts appear to have been issued to the confirmed signings. There are reports Barnet may have said no to an optional second year at The Hive on current terms. It is not clear whether renegotiated terms are possible or whether a new ground must be found.
