If the comment about the coach a downer are right slightly worried. He has huge potential. Was brilliant at Dewsbury in the play of game, but needs to tighten defence and mature. Would be surprised if Henderson didn't want him? For once, at the risk that Cowgirl will brand me an apologist, I am with the owner (if rumour has any truth)
It might be more that yes he does have the potential but the coach isn't convinced that unless he bucks his ideas up that he'll make the most of that potential.
With the signing of Eliab, opportunities for Joe might be limited. But as with Oscar Thomas he is not going to be first choice wherever he goes, so he might as well stay here and fight for his place. Also, with next years pack he might find playing half back a whole lot more comfortable
It might be the making of him, whilst it would be a shame to lose a home grown player with potential. He may well benefit from moving out of his comfort zone and having to prove himself at Wakefield. He has been at the club a long time and will be down the pecking order this season, by going to Wakey with a clean sheet he may well realise his potential. I certainly would not blame him if he did make the move. Good luck to him.
