Think its where the class of a coach shows up.
Get to halftime and change things. We have been unable to do the second half adjustment where other teams do! So you can look at it as a collapse or you can see it as the opposition identifying our weaknesses in the first half and targeting them.

It was far from a collapse we just had a good 10 minute spell I think your going to shock a few teams this year Cunningham is a player I wish we had he always seems to play well against us

The idea there was a collapse is nowhere near the mark. Basic mistakes were punished. Coincidentally once Will was brought on they targeted him and he’s not up to the job. Pelisier is a joker. The starting props just plodders. Changes required. Sid to lock, Yates starting prop, Hindmarsh and Smith in for Lovell and Eloi.

Their commentators were more positive about our team than our own fans going by whats on here. Listening to it I thought we had a really good first half and lost concentration for 10 minutes in the second half and they punished us for it

Gardener you are right. The HKR fans did influence the ref.

Sorry to repeat myself, basic mistakes caused us the problems. First carry in our own 10/20m, Mason drops the ball and a minute later, HKR scored. On the plus side, we again showed a defensive resilience, especially as HKR started to play some random off the cuff footie and really stretched us. BUT if we are taking this league seriously we shouldn't be making this kind of error. In attack we looked really good, and I would have expected better from ex NRL player Yates, who spilled the ball twice with the line calling him.

Second half, Lovell was on. His positional understanding is lacking, as, seemingly are his basic skills. He dropped the ball and the next set HKR scored. I know he is an academy product, but he simply is not good enough. The concession of 3 tries in a shortish period of time resulted from our lack of ability to manage a set of six and end a set deep in the opposition half. Alex looked to be carrying a hand injury form most of the second half.

Another 40/20, this time from Fozzard, but we bombed it (one of Yates knock ons).

Plenty to be positive about, but changes required and I would suggest a couple more properly experienced bodies.

Dropping the ball seems to be a habit again. Plummy assumingyou were at the game from yr comments.
What’s the cause, poor timing? Pushing the pass that shouldn’t be on? Are they trying to push things rather than building pressure, throwing the pass when maybe they should hold on?
Dropping the ball in the tackle in the first set is a worry.

I was.

For Yates he was running a very good line and the passes were decent, I think it was concentration.

Lovell just never seems to have control of the ball going into contact.
