Difficulty here is separating who is a reserve and who a first teamer. Not always obvious to the untrained eye. I suggest we ask Skolars if they’ll lend us all their players and go with that.

On a serious note. Surely there will be a fine or disciplinary action taken for that fiasco? Charlotte Baxter is head of Medical and we have 1 Physio listed. We supposedly have 4 teams running this year, 1st, Reserve, Academy and Ladies......at some stage in the summer Charlotte will struggle to be at 2 venues (or more) at once?

Leigh will look at this game as a chance to boost their +/-. Fev dropped a point in their draw with Batley and I suspect that a few more "surprise" results over the season might see points difference the selector of Home/Away advantage at the end.

Leigh will stick 60+ points on us. Not sure if we will score but it won't really matter. I look forward to Mustards Broncos career obituary sooner rather than later with his replacement from The Pitching In Isthmian Football League being unveiled as the future of "cross-code" coaching

This playing 2 matches on one day is stretching our non existent back room staff beyond what is reasonable. I wonder if someone told us that the Academies League plays on Saturdays and we fell for it?

Broncos applied for Elite Academy status and got it. It needs to be backed up with appropriate funds and resources. As far as I know, home fixtures are played on Sunday which on a couple of occaisions so far clashed with first team. However, the fixture that got cancelled was not one of these.

We also chose to run a reserve side which not many other Championship clubs seem to do.

Of course, if we were still at Trailfinders all games could have been played at the same venue.

Well we will not be facing Kieran Dixon on Sunday.. He has been sent out by Leigh to Widnes, on a two week loan.
