It’s sad for them as individuals as they will have had high hopes but the quality of performance, results and squad (for which I assume they have some responsibility) meant a change was inevitable. Half way through the season sounds about the right time for a change and the move to a full time coach seems smart ( what a shame we dismissed that idea at the start of this transitional year- hybrid model anyone?) The problem though is this whilst a FT post will increase the number and quality of applicant as it stands we have our fitness coach leading us into 2 of the most important fixtures of the season. He’s a very well respected fitness coach but he isn’t a coach by fault or design. I do hope we get a shift on and I hope we consider bringing in some FT players short term at least. Crikey what a life.
