The core 150 who don't frequent forums, but who blindly follow regardless, see themselves as the "true fans". They will buy their ST's, pay extra to sit in the same room as Hughes and massage his ego..........they are as guilty as the man himself, because they give him the impression that he's doing sterling work!

Personally, I am planning a trip to Europe in May next year and for the first time in what will be 14 years, I am not doing it to fit to a schedule where I can take in a game. I have nearly £1,500 worth of club merchandise in my wardrobe and always search for the results and highlights at the earliest opportunity, but I can say that hand on heart, if I still lived in London I'd be back at London Irish now with little interest in either the club or the sport......that's the legacy that Hughes, MacKay and Loubser have delivered.....and I am one of the 4,000 that they've lost!

As an aside DC, and to add insult to injury, the last 2 home games of the season I rocked up to find a family in my and junior’s ST seats. Bearing in mind the amount of empty seats it felt a bit small time(which you know I hate) to ask them to move but did bring into focus what on earth the added value was of having a ST. I’m already planning on giving the TO game a swerve and there is always a couple of games that circumstances dictate can’t be attended so with all the deals and with the paucity of value for my ST over the last 3 seasons I’ve got to say I may take a more fiscally sensible approach to attending next year.

I'm thinking the only game I might attend will be against TO in Toulouse. But then I'm not a real fan.

I tend to take in more Reserves, Academy and Women's games than first team so will wait for discounts.

It seems to me the bell weather game is Widnes. If we do alright against them we’ll be Ok if not...poop. Give that one a spin DC Broncos need every fan the can get through the doors.

Discounts will be announced 3 days after the first home game! However may be a wearying push to get people into ‘the Lounge’ rather than the cheap seats. We’ll see. (May end up cheaper to go in GL than out in general population now that would be ironic.)

Doubt they'd want Big Dave to on the receiving end of serious questioning (or abuse if you like) from the likes of us.
