As an away fan, it is rather iritating to be allocated a seat, you can't sit with friends who arrive at different times, also someone was sat in "our seats" so we sat in someone else's, further up and drier too. Why do the seats have to be allocated? If the stadium can't muster up enough stewards or afford to pay them, at least don't bother giving seat numbers and let us sit where we like. - I'm certain all the Quins fans want to sit together as do the away fans - apart from that and the result another enjoyable weekend darn sarf. :D

I noticed a few frustrated Hull Fans around the ground regarding seating arrangements.

It's been fun.

1. Has there been an Open forum with fans and people who run the club ?

2. On the Steward issue has any one asked this question

Volunteer stewards ?

im sure a lot of people wouldn't mind, if the opportunity was there, to do it for free. I know if i could make myself available i would willingly do it (for the sake of the game)

on the tickets issue

How hard is it for the people in the booths to say

"Harlequins or Hull"

North home, south away ?

It's not rocket science is it ?

I wasnt going to enter this debate on this subject, but now feel have to say something.

I couldnt get to the game last night and ended up watching it on TV. and i have to say this PLEASE PLEASE who ever is in charge of this matter at the Club now sort it out and move the away fans in to one of the Stands behind the posts, because on TV it works awful. I sat there watching my team play a great game of rugby in what looked like a empty ground.

Every time Sky switched cameras from the Lexus stand to behind the posts it showed this plan just does not work, it look so bad my mate who popped something in for me thought i hadnt gone because the game was being played behind closed doors for some reason, thats how bad it looked to him.

Its not to late to rethink this idea, we are still in the early part of the season so have plenty of time to try something diffrent.

So as a concerned fan please Mr Blanchard for your first act as General Manger if not for next weeks game then at least for HullKR game move the away fans to behind the posts in the South Stand( i want it this stand as it has a higher roof so they cant bang on it like that can in North Stand). then allow Quins fans, who are the Clubs life blood and we are draining this blood away with this set up, to sit where they like in the Etihad Stand mainly in the middle if possible.

It will work we all know it will work, it worked in the first season at The Stoop. it will still look good on Sky (not like they are here every week is it). I think not only will our fans be happier so will the away fans as they will know where to go and be able to sit with their mates just like Quins fans will be able too.

So in fear of repeating myself Mr Blanchard,as a concerned fan who comes here and reads that loyal fans are thinking of leaving and those who tried hard to bring mates along and feel embarrassed at where they have to sit or try and watch from, act now before we get to far into the season and we have even fewer fans coming.

Maybe this is what we all should do and E mail Rammo about this on his Radio show, get him behind us so he can push to get Mr Blanchard in the Studio and we can all ask him out right on this subject (well if anyone has the bottle to phone in :) ),but the more e mails he gets on this subject maybe he take a little notice. He might think about sorting out a fans forum to talk about it.

This happened to a mate of mine at the Warrington game. He'd been a ST holder in previous years. Was expecting to see him at the game last night but he wasn't there!

Ended up dragging 3 friends with me yesterday, I am sure that only 1 might return. The fact that the seats were once again low (pre purchased friday) and this time in the rain.

Thats a total of 9 different friends who I probably will convert 2 of them to return in the future.

Seriously considering not returning myself at the moment.

I also suspect that we wont crack crowds above 3500 most of the season with these seating restrictions in place, all to save a few £'s.

Open the North!

we need to re-market ourselves to RL fans now we are a credible team with home grown players. It would be great if Stevo or Clarke plug us on our next home games and call out to all the thousands of southerners watching on SKY and tell them to get to the Stoop and watch this exciting team full of home-grown stars. Sell sell sell. Discounted tickets to RU fans aint gonna work, just like Leeds Tykes didnt get thousands of Rhinos fans along, and if Wigan started a union team they wouldnt get thousands of RL fans along.

The ticketing has been a joke this season.

Wigan, I arrived late due to trains and walked up to the gate and paid £15 and was given a ticket in the Club seats in the East.

Warrington, arrived long before kick off, paid £20 at the gate and was allocated a Jester seat in Row A.

Hull, asked at the turnstile if I could pay cash whilst waiting for someone to arrive and told "Yes". When all the party is together we walk up to the turnstile but are stopped by a steward who sends us to the Ticket Office stating no cash. Ticket Office give us 3 tickets for £20 each and ask us where we'd like to sit, offering us blocks and rows to choose from. We buy our tickets, proceed to the turnstile and see a line of people paying cash. Didn't see the 'abuse' from Hull fans and didn't have that many around me, but that's three games so far where the seating arrangements have been different. It's just pot luck as to how they're feeling about doing it on the day I think

We need this sorted, clarified and dealt with!

Does anyone know who is on Rammo's show Tuesday this week? Could be worth while emailing in a few questions at least get the subject aired as it seems to be vexing quite a lot of support (if RL Fans is any indication).

As both a season ticket holder and a 'supporter' find the moans, complaints and arguments about 'seating' both depressing and at times totally pathetic.

If you are a 'real' supporter you should be buying a season ticket and if you need to order 'extra' tickets for 'mates/family' etc you just need to ring the club 'requesting' that you all sit togeather. OK you might not have the original view your season ticket provided but it's a small penalty for that game more so if any then become regulars.

To be quite honest that while I agree the QRL 'ticketing' set-up has not been that clever in recent seasons am sure that with our new GM now in place he will be giving this urgent priority for the '10 season.
