was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

I might struggle to find evidence that DH is walking away at the end of the licence period, but it was my understanding that this milestone was linked to him retiring and he would therefore be unable to continue funding the club....having already given away a good chunk of his childrens inheritance to the club.
OK, strong hints but not definite, I thought. Might have been something about somebody else needing to pick up (part of) the burden.
I'm still hoping that there might be the odd ex-Palestinian refugee multi-millionaire chum of Dr Koukash racing a few horses at Sandown or Kempton.
For too long now we have folks come on here shoot from the hip, not having the slightest clue what has been happening in the background, but always prefering to think the worst, rather than give the club and the individuals at the helm the benefit of the doubt. We are not aparty to any of the negotiations that go on be it Broncos / Quins, Broncos / RFL, Broncos / Adams Park, etc and frankly some of the stuff now being trotted out is embarrassing, too easy to run the club and the individuals down from behind the keyboard.
When I signed up to be a 'London' fan, I knew it wasnt going to be an easy ride, and so it has proved. It's cost me far too much money, time, emotion and whilst I despair at times with many things that go on at the club, what gets me down the most is that there are so many 'glass half empty' individuals contributing to this forum. It drags you down into a spiral of depression.
One thing I firmly believe though (without anything to substantiate) is that David Hughes has spent too much money and too many hours on elite London RL to let it sink without a trace. Like most of us who have belief in London RL, and are desperate to see it succeed and I am sure he will work tirelessly to do whats best.
Completely agree.
My first London game was Saints at the end of 2011, free ticket through the evening standard. Immediately hooked, been a season ticket holder ever since and will continue to be so, regardless of results. Have got to know some great people, which makes for an excellent match day experience. I know the issues the club has but we have to keep positive. I believe the club will succeed, in London.
Went to the Leigh game on Monday. Questioned a few fans in the pub about if they would travel one and a half hours or more to watch a home game. The overwhelming majority would not. Most northern fans walk to the ground in 15 minutes. The commitment of the admittedly small band of London fans is superb. COYB

Point of order PCP.......I have backed up pretty much all my "hip shots" with cold hard facts. I don't have a go at Gus because I wanna be a Keyboard Warrior......the guy is single handedly killing the club I support and is at the moment in time, due no support or defence with regards to the pitch malarky going on at the moment. He is the CEO of the only professional Club in the capital, yet the only time we hear a peep from him is to jump on the feel good factor of a win (castleford) or to give veiled explanations as to why we've been kicked off a pitch that we've loving paid for.
As for Mr Hughes...as Saintly as you'd have us believe he is, he has not invested 10% of his yearly "donation" to London Pro RL to the one area it is most needed.....we've had "winning teams" before, they didn't result in bigger crowds.....he ignores marketing because he thinks it should be the RFL doing it for us......he's played chicken with them and he looks like losing....past his retirement, we will be the biggest losers.
Shooting from the hip? If I were,I'd take both barrels down to 7" tomake sure I didn't miss
