There is a better first grade team than LB over the road from the gills winning 70 - 10 today. Hope LB do not move, in my opinion it will be a disaster for the local club.

there's a difference between paying lip service and being a community club......our current community,as in TW2 residents, don't know we exist.......if we were a community club, they'd be up in arms about us leaving the community...

You seriously believe the Broncos' community is only the 2 square miles around Twickenham?

I'm surprised to hear that the locals don't know we exist, as years ago, they used to complain about when the games were played.

Anyone on here remember that? Something to do with the noise, the floodlights.

If we were a community club then we would have the support of the community.....we don't!

Nope, it was before that. In the late 90s at the stoop. I even have an inkling of a neuron firing that we moved a game because of residents complaints. Think it was either night games or Sunday ones.

Can any fan from back then confirm / remember that?

As I said, the locals do know we are there. Question is. Are they interested?

Fully accept that the first time around, especially when the Aussies were in town for WCC, that London being at the stoop was a pain for the neighbours.....the residents of TW2 at the time also put the mockers on Pavarotti over in the big house as well IIRC...

The point about 2006 onwards is that no attempt has been made to let the locals know we're back.....as per usual, we just turned up, stuck posts in the ground and expected to sell tickets....

Completely correct, it is just one of the theories from gutterfax with no substance! The people of TW2 are not interested in the main.

I was speaking to someone at the game on Saturday who is also a London Welsh ST holder. They live 500 yards from the Stoop and hadn't had any marketing at them!

But we know they don't spend money on marketing. GF has pointed that out once or twice. :D
