You bleat about crowd numbers yet encourage people to stay away, what paradoxical world are you living in, the idea should be accept the rubbish situation for what it is, encourage people to turn up and then you might actually see sponsors interested, players seeing a full stadium and wanting to play for London.

Gus is destroying the club through being inept hey but at least he wants it to improve, your attitude is, lets destroy the club to prove that i was right, seriously if you want an ego boost if theyd listened to you they might be in a better situation. So well done, you're an intelligent, articulate and succesfull person but you're also a boring negative ar5ehole, a man who would want a club burned to the ground just so he could say told you so.

How does New Zealand contain your ego, you thought of moving to Russia?

No one wants Gus there but stop raining on everyone's parade.

agree totally with previous post.

gutterfax - if all you are going to say is DH is s***, Gus is???! the team is...., we will get relegated! we will not survive in the championship! we are not fit to describe ourselves as a professional team etc etc etc - we probably would agree with some of the analysis, but what is your solution other than saying we are DOOMED, GIVE UP NOW.?

I don't get it it. if you believe all you are posting then what is the point and why continue? sit on the other side of the world with a smug smirk on your face? if you have the money buy the club from DH, relocate and build another club. otherwise give it a rest, as others have said it's beyond boring...... also please don't quote the declining attendances over the past few years, we KNOW!

Right....let's deal with a few facts.

1. I have never encouraged anyone to stay away and no matter how many times some of you post it, it won't make it so. The implication that I could influence anyone to do anything by posting on a forum is quite laughable really, but it obviously eases some of your more furrowed bows believing that my posts in some way contributed to the record low crowd at the Hive.
2. I have most assuredly never suggested that anyone accept the current situation either. Not sure why you think my absolutely saying that we should not accept the current situation is actually saying stay away, but the reality is, that turning up and applauding 1.80 coffees and pleasant bar staff is ACCEPTING what you have.......
3. Gus wants what to improve? He is responsible for what we have and where we are yet your comment comes across as "cut the guy some slack"...well love him. I am sorry, but he is incapable and deserves to never work in sports administration again.
4. An ego boost  It always has to be about my ego doesn't it  You may be surprised to hear, but I actually care what happens to the club, regardless of who is in charge. What you won't be so stunned to learn is that the clown in charge isn't delivering after 37 months and 40 "home games" he has, with each step, made mistake after gaffe after error. Because I don't "cut him some slack" you reckon it is my desire to say, "I told you so" that drives my posts.....you really are incapable of anything other than blind devotion aren't you
5. There was a parade for me to rain on? When was it? Was there an email about it? Did the club invite everyone, or was it just the "chosen few" who will nod like approving sheep? 108 points shipped in 160 minutes against a mid table outfit and a team that will just steer clear of the drop is not a parade.
6. In your earlier attempt to glean positivity from today, you said the Hive was suited to our size of crowds. That is acceptance of failure on your part. Because the owner and CEO are prepared to accept failure, it doesn't follow that fans should also accept it. The idea of a smaller ground being GOOD is farcical......but because your buddy who needs to be cut some slack couldn't add to crowds at the stoop (he actually cut them by 40%) he's moved us to a ground that makes him (and you apparently) feel better about the poop crowds. Only Catalans last year has attracted fewer fans to a London SL home game in 231 events. Go on, put some positive spin on that!
7. My attitude? Your saying I want to destroy the club shows how out of touch you are. I don't need the club to fall any further for me to be able to say I said was coming. I want the club to thrive, but for that to happen, HE HAS TO GO! It's not the club, it's the poison running it that is killing it!

Brian2.....I won't stop posting to make you feel better.....I'LL EASE OFF WHEN THE CLUB MAKE CHANGES.

Not standing up at a forum and saying "we'll try harder" but actually TRYING HARDER. Spend some money, hire professionals and if we are going to die as a Professional entity, then at least die trying....what a few on here are suggesting is akin to euthanasia

Re: V Salford 22nd Feb 3pm : Sat Feb 22, 2014 8:01 pm
I don't want you to cut Gus some slack, no one wants him here, cut your own fans some slack though and you might win some friends and people willing to help you. Currently you just derail every thread and are in essence saying "How dare you say anything positive about anything"

People share your frustration, I do and London are a hobby team for me, I want them back to the heights under Branson as much as anyone, just give it a rest with people looking for little chinks of positivity and beating them into submission, you might not be turning people away from The Hive but you sure as hell are turning them away from this site. I get PM's all the time asking me to ban you, I won't, but you're attacking the wrong people in your napalm collateral damage approach.

Re: V Salford 22nd Feb 3pm : Sat Feb 22, 2014 8:06 pm
I think it is encouraging that the lads kept going to the end. Its more than they did against Widnes so some progress has been made. There was some very odd decision making which im sure TR will have to discuss with a few of them. Our safety first approach in bringing the ball out was working fine until McKeeken
i think it was tried to offload with 4 players tackling him and lost the ball from which a try came on that set. If Solomona is here for the next game and gets some experience that may help but we really need a few who can make an impact.James Greenwood the Prop coming back would help as well. Lets hope for more improvement in the next game.

Irrelevant point, but as you ask the Hive pitch is not a big enough pitch for a proper rugby league game, so therefore you could have it in the garden with the crowd in the aforementioned atmospheric and intimate garden shed. Perhaps the bald fielding guru could serve up curry for the posh seats looking out from the dining room through the French windows.

Lol, MY point was irrelevant....riiiight. Really, have you been to The Hive? The scoreline did not reflect how well the Broncos had improved since last week, irrespective of pitch size, a pitch size ratified by the RFL of course, but keep knocking it...And your constant referrings about Gus are getting mind numbing. Comment about Solutions, not moan/whinge/childishly comment about already known problems.

I was pleased with the performance, we really looked like a team and can definitely win a few games this year. Nesi was poor though, didnt run with any purpose and was reluctant to hit the line. Good day, good stadium, good performance.
