With the current owner, CEO and Commercial Manager it was perfectly adequate in Superleague last time around .....the move to wimbledon is nothing more than another attempt to disguise the fact that Hughes has again appointed unqualified and incapapble people to key roles at the he club.

The current Commercial Manager wasn’t at the club last time we were in SL.
Gone downhill since he joined the staff!!

Of course, Trailfinders is perfectly adequate for a second tier outfit.

Beggers can't be choosers, at least Trailfinders own their own ground and have been knocking on the door of the premiership of rugby union for the last couple of seasons.

That is true but they were told they couldn't play Premiership games there if they were promoted & had a deal with QPR in case that happened. Then they met Salarycens & it became academic.

Indeed, pretty decent setup.

Getting back to the thread can I assume the meeting didn’t go well. That it broke up with everyone agreeing there was little point in worrying about Wimbledon as we are likely to have no team and no fans?

If had broken up with anger, we would have heard! Watch out for fans wearing white aprons and arcane symbols, lol

Not sure why wireq has gone schtum of late. Hope he's ok.
As for the meeting, I fail to see the point of it taking place if the part time decision had already been made. Other than an opportunity to blame everyone and everything including covid 19 for their abject failure, why else would the club wish to discuss anything with a handful.of lapsed supporters?

Jason and James are putting an article together that will be distributed soonest.

It's probably best that we just wait out for that, particularly given the recent news on funding cuts etc.
