Cunningham has a clean record because the RFL choose to ignore anything that he does wrong. A punch is a punch in my opion and should be dealt with properly not just covered up as an accident or it will end up with other teams and players thinking they can punch when on the floor and say it was an accident as they were trying to get up.

Do you really believe that the point of the ball being pushed into someone's eye can't do any damage? That's not where it went in this case but it was very close.



Cunningham does that sort of stuff frequently when he's trying to get a quick PTB, particularly when near the opponents line. He's an aggressive player, not a dirty one, but every time he does that he's running the risk of injuring an opponent. On this occasion he did and ought to be punished. What's the point of a warning to someone who's been playing the same way for years?



Howell was punished because the video review panel decided to forward the case to the disciplinary committee. They should have done the same with Cunningham.

What about Howell and Hecklenberg? I know Howell is banned so when does it run till?

The thread was titled "injury"....howells has another weekend off this weekend. Hecks is always 50/50 and will probably be in the 19.

It looks like we may have Flannery and Eastmond back for our match against you but how fit they will be is another matter. If Eastmond is fit and on form then he could cause you difficulties as he scoots about a lot and has a lower centre of gravity than most (making him tricky to tackle). A bit like Rob Burrow but more attractive and better.
