I don't think anyone denies that! but it is moving on to the next level, and the money needed. More than ever now so many Northern fans are wanting to pull up the draw bridge and want the sport to go back to being The Northern Rugby League, a step backwards, and some still call union, the Minor Sport?

finding it hard to be positive about the club at the moment. Clubby repeating his "I want out of here" tantrum was bad enough, but no the Likes of Dixon being tapped by the daily express (pizza express has better journalists BTW) is indicative of TR having no control over his charges.
Furthermore, TR was apparently amused/bemused by some of the conspiracy theories emanating from the boards.....I would suggest that every time one of his players says they don't know what's going on it "thickens the plot".

DH made an undertaking to finance the club until the end of 2014. If that means moving to the Hive or to another football ground in London then so be it, but every passing day they run the chance of losing more fans......communication is key here.

As Listy has said its all down to Anthony Kleanthous. We are obviously waiting for him to agree to go with the deal - subject to him being able to with all these questions on what he is allowed to do according to the Lease/Council. It isnt the club!

The club must want to confirm everything as any players who have agreed to sign will not wait for us for ever and sign for HKA etc.

Ultimately all of these issues are of the clubs making as they were the ones who chose to change ground mid licence period.

Gus has had all year on this as his #1 priority and here we are at the end of the season with fans and players alike not knowing where things stand.

I would suggest that it is 100% the club.

Correction: The Skolars are a model on how to run a semi-professional club.

Correct....but I have no doubt that if the improbable were to happen and they were to find themselves going 100% professional, they'd make a better fist of it than the London Broncos have.

Exactly. Would you put Marks and Sparks in the hands of someone who ran a cornershop? I hope Skolars prosper as we need them same as we need Hemel etc. but they are operating at a much different level to LB's. in terms of administration and finance etc. If someone with big pockets comes along maybe they will be able to move up a level.

Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.

Re: Best Case Scenario : Fri Aug 30, 2013 9:18 pm
Attached is a link to the planning papers being put forward to Harrow Council regarding the Hive. Majority is detail about the stadium and some amendments. I believe it was deferred subject to additional information on the floodlights and light spread. Majority of objections relate to Barnet FC playing first team football, which as is pointed out in the conclusion on page 24 that is lawful in planning terms so long as within the 5176 capacity.

http://www.harrow.gov.uk/www2/documents ... 13%202.pdf

A clear statement on page 13 clarifies that in 'the context of the “lawful use” permitted by the 2008 planning permission, there is no planning restriction on the use of the stadium for these [first team football] purposes. The lease agreement, which sits outside of the planning remit, restricts professional football (defined as league 2 or above) from being played at the stadium. However, there is no restriction on non-league games being played and it is noted that Barnet FC have recently been relegated out of the football league.'

When or whether the lease has been amended to allow professional football is another matter. Also would any sport be prevented, and could it be legally?

Ambiguous tweet from Martin Sadler of League Express:
Martyn Sadler ‏@MartynSadler 2m

From what I hear, @LondonBroncosRL are likely to be alive and kicking within Super League next season. I'd put the odds at about 75%.

75% in favour I presume?
