The annual pilgrimage to London for the northerners has been diluted by the option of club games in London, Catalans, MM, Grand Final added to the World cup (this year) etc

It has become notable in recent years how few neutral colours you see at the CC compared to the "old" days

This is exactly what I said the other day in a thread, at one time every major pub or club, in many Northern towns would organise trips, people would often pay in a savings club for a weekend away, but those days are gone, a trip to London is not special any longer, even theatre stay trips organised by papers and local radio stations are not run the same.

I would say at least a third of the seats were empty at Wembly yesterday.I have never seen a C C so under supported.

It looked embarrassing! take away the 17,500 Club Wembley seats, facing camera position, the whole middle tear was virtually empty. I would say more 63,000

Sorry don't understand. The whole middle tier IS Club Wembley.

The upper middle tier I was saying was virtually empty, that is the one just beneath the top tier, the debenture seats are the ones directly facing the camera centre, plenty of empty seats as well.

There was a much smaller crowd for the Huddersfield final. It's a 90k all seater stadium. It's not the law to sell out a stadium just because it has a certain amount of seats.

It doesn't take much to feel like an intellectual on here.
