I can`t believe the suggestions that L&L should be moved to either the North or South stands!!

I sit in this section and contribute to the noise/singing at home or away, the reason for consolidating a L&L group was to beef up the noise in general and hopefully encourage other fans close by to join in.......but the latter is a bit hit and miss, as it tends to depend on whether or not we are winning.

So for shouting myself hoarse every week and paying a good season ticket price, my reward is to go and sit behind the sticks and have a cr@p view........what a ridiculous idea. Just a shot in the dark......perhaps an alternative idea would be for those fans that can`t be bothered to cheer, to get off their lazy backsides and join in with encouraging the team....or even better, perhaps they can all buy drums and 5od off to the north and south stands......just a thought.

Agreed. Any more 'vocal' section needs to be in the more populous main stand. Otherwise it would just look like a minority of nutters shunted away to avoid inconviniencing others.

You said it!

So when Wakefield or Cas next bring the noise brigade, or the Whino's south standers let's stick em' in the north stand and let them turn the roof in to a giant amp and make it like THEIR home ground!

I don't know you try to be constructive and get shot down, why bother?

I think if we going to end up putting away fans behind the posts, then stick them in the South Stand. The roofs higher for a start and plus not so much in the sun up that end :)

The east stand is our stand. Lets concentrate on that. I don't give two hoots about away fans, so long as the majority are in the north stand and we're able to have our own stand - you know, like all other clubs do.

Have you considered that as far as `master plans` go, your idea was not very good?

wasn't his idea....was my "suggestion". Sorry
All I am saying (and please be aware I was equidistant between L&L and the HKR massive, that they made a lot more noise....even in the first half!
That tin roof really does make a difference.
L&L needs to be situated (IMO) in an area that allows a few first timers to get a feel for the atmosphere...as it is, first timers are currently limited to AA/AB or AH/AJ for £15 which is the top price most will pay for their first game.
As for telling people to get off their @rses and cheer the team.......that kind of stalanist attitude will really help boost attendance
I understand that not everyone can be made happy all the time, but the club need to think this one through.
If it means reducing the gold club membership price and generalising all the other prices, then so be it, but the ticketing needs to be looked at for next year. If we work on the £9.50 price that the IL calculator said was the average income per person at a game, we are already 60k down on income this year  so I would personally look at going back to £10 Tickets and £100 ST's.
