I swear there have already been some designs for this (in fact I remember doing one) and I remember some decent ones IIRC.

I believe it was a sticky? Does anyone remember? Graeme, perhaps?

Yeah we did run a comp some time back, just had a look back in the db and can't find it though, so if this takes off this time [it died on it's arris last time] we can run a stickied poll for designs.
