Do you have any proof that Bentham is a "cheat" & walked out on the pitch thinking I know I'll make sure London lose today or did he just give a decision you disagreed with

Re: Wakefield (H) In Game.... : Mon Feb 18, 2013 2:19 pm
I'm sorry to say this but the best bit of yesterday's game for me was getting in the car and driving out of the ground.

Will I be back at the moment I can say hand on heart no I wont. I think I might spend my summer fishing instead, less aggro and to be honest less of a drive round the M25 for that.

Everybody already said about the performance of the team, so wont add to that apart from I agree with it all.
If things don't improve I can see Dixon off at the end of the season (if not before), same can be said about Sarg too.

I started to worry about this game when watching the warm up before hand. I looked at our lot just running around or not doing much really, looked like they were doing some running drills while the forwards ran into the heavy bags. then got together and then some sort of drill where they bang into each others shoulders.

so I looked at Wakey. first thing I noticed their forwards ran into the heavy bags a lot harder. the backs were doing some sort of drill where they caught the ball rolled on floor and got up quick into a PTB postion or run into the coach turned fast and offloaded to the player running behind. But one thing stuck out the most was Sykes, Smith and one other player did not see who it was(think it was the hooker) were all practicing kicks to corners both high for the wingers plus low along the ground and watched the bounce each time. Smith also then practiced grubbers along the ground around the goalposts but also out into the corners. the ones into the corners were interesting as he had a coach or player stand there who it looked like were judging the distance of the ingoal area ( I may be wrong there).

6-0 at half time the guy next to me said that's not bad they can come out in second half and turn this round, I said did you see the way they walked off. it was like they were 30-0 down, which lets be honest could have been so close to that if Wakey just had the bounce of the ball that half. Where as Wakey jogged off, so I wasn't as positive as him about the second half ( I really wanted to be proofed wrong). But atlas I wasn't.

In physical impact team sports the quality teams are often beaten by lesser, but more determined teams. I fear we fit into neither category and dread to think how this season will pan out. I was there at the birth of this club in Fulham and now sense the organ player is preparing for the funeral service march. DH has made some serious errors of judgement in his personnel recruitment and his financial loss this season will be his biggest. Im not worried about us moving to Gillingham now (even though i sense Leyton was the more likely outcome) as i think DH will realise he has a dead duck on his hands and will call it a day this season and cut his losses. I will have to check where my black suit is.

RFL state sin-binning sufficient for Michael Witt following a dissent offence in the 59th minute on Sunday.

I found the performance offensive as well! Does seem that the RFL agreed with Witt!

Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.

On a positive note, I see Wheeldon made 192 metres and 31 tackles (no pens or errors either)...seems like a good effort. Anyone know who got the defender award ?

Fusi put in a better shift too...145 metres (more than double what he did in the previous two games).
pronto

They eventually trapsed into the Kings Bar about 1800.
Dixon got the defending award and Wheeldon the Players player.

KD did pop up all over the place and was his usual enthusiastic self but as he only made 5 tackles and missed 5, he will have better days! (hopefully when the rest of the team sort themselves out).

Re: Wakefield (H) In Game.... : Wed Feb 20, 2013 10:07 pm
One plus if Broncos go to Gillingham is that i wont feel compelled to get season ticket. As they are currently fairly local to me i tend to get one as generally a nice afternoon out, meeting up with fellow fans and hopefully some good live rugby league. Wont get season ticket for Gillingham, so if they not performing i wont be attending wasting time and money on team that cant be arsed bar a few players. They will have to earn my money next season rather than i paying up full of optimism only to have hopes dashed over and over. I was sitting there thinking, flip me, we have lost at home to 2 of the so called lesser teams that we may have got a win against, another 11 to go with possible 2 winnables left bar a miraculous turn around. :FRUSRATED:

Saw David Hughes face after match, if looks could kill not a happy chappy.

Were Catalans not interested in friendly we played, as how can we beat them then when the league starts all gone to pot once more.

No doubt another hammering :BEAT: will be served up by Wigan this weekend. Hope i am wrong, but you cant see anything else happening at present. ho hummmmmmm
