I've been following the various commentators in touch with Ian Ramsdale's Twitter account; Rugby League Express; Rugby League World and pretty much anything that comes up when you type in 'London Broncos blog aggregator' into Google...

I don't think there is a need to feel despondent just yet as like Wire says there should be another five players or so coming and Lenagan has promised us two players from his squad. If they have played first team rather than being complete rookies they should add something I'd guess.

Remember that I went to the away games last season which featured the likes of Caton-Brown and Macani and they look decent players; fast and good.

The Elliot Kear deal is suggested by the @backthebroncos account which seems to be a credible commentator so far and there are strong rumours of further announcements from the club today (Weds) and Saturday

Good stuff Mark. I'm also waiting to see who the other 5 are before i start thinking the worst. One player like Summat (i know he wont come now) would make a big difference to us and Wigan have some very good players on the fringes who could be Wigan first team regulars with another season behind them. I've never seen Caton-Brown and Macani so i'm very pleased to read your comments about them. I did wonder why you had them in the starting line up you suggested so its great to see more local lads making the grade. If we are to prosper as a club we desperately need them under the present quota rules where we cant get good payers to come down south.

What are the Broncos revenue streams?
I list them as the following, I'm sure there are others. Can they be exploited, expanded upon, utilised effectively, improved? Some ie the sky money are set, others untapped. What part could the supporters play if the club considered interacting with them? I know season tickets are now memberships run by Barnet in return for ground rent and use of facility or at least thats the impression I get. Is there an attendance number above which the LB's could receive a share as an incentive?

When it comes to getting new investors to come on board they will combine the income Barnet are getting with what the Broncos are getting so i don't think we should begrudge AK anything we give him just because its not directly for the Broncos. We are getting the use of his facilities after all.

The squad looks ok all things considered, but there is a massive lack of experience, particularly in the halves and forwards where it's needed.

I think we're kidding ourselves if we think this squad will compete in SL.

Aaron Groom, the Fiji World Cup half, would be the person I'd target. He looked a talent in the World Cup and surely he'd jump at the chance of playing Super League instead of in the reserve grades somewhere. That is based purely on my opinion as I don't know his personal circumstances.
