So in this wonderful new structure the club has established who is actually in charge now. TR is player side, AK is ground and err where exactly do merchandise, website, social media actually sit. Who coordinates and ensures a consistent 'brand' approach, if there ever will be one from April.

Precisely, it's all madness!

Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.

Put Steve Magee in charge, bloke does everything else and could still do a better job. Oh and he would happily share a beer with the supporters. I here Dom Fenton is helping out again so at least there is one person who knows what he is doing. Bring back Nic Cartwright and Nigel Waters I say. Both with big business and marketing experience under their belts now and a real love for the club.

1. Before anyone is appointed to any position where the responsibility is to grow the club and create a future for the business, Hughes needs to be made to make it clear what his intentions are for 2015 onwards.
If he wants to continue to invest, even at a reduced rate, then fine, but he needs to understand that his influence stops when the ink is dry on the cheque. AK also needs to make his stance know now for 2015 onwards....landlord or partner or investor!
Then and only then can a CEO/General manager be interviewed/hired......someone who understands where the club has been, the mistakes it has made and where it needs to go.
A strategic plan needs to be drawn up and then adhered to......London Broncos can no longer afford the luxury of shooting from the hip.

Completely agree. Whether or not anything like that will happen is sadly another story.

Pie in the sky.......The damage has been done from which we will not recover and people just have to accept that from next year we are a championship club. There will be no replacement for Gus nor will there be a master plan for our future. Gus going will make absolutely no difference (bar pleasing PP, CN etc).....mind you at least it will see an end to the tedious curry jokes and warder references.

Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.

Agree with you Sticksy, although I doubt LB will exist next year as any sort of club.

Gus was instructed to strip LB down to the bare bones to save money and make it more financially viable for potential partners/investors.

I think he has managed the former to the extent that London Broncos are no longer a club... they are now just a team with a handful of key personnel.

Sadly, I don't think LB is viable as a Champ club, and I doubt it will take AK long to figure that out for himself.

I always thought highly of Nic Cartwright, he got us into a reasonable shape after Branson pulled out. Remember back then we could seriously talk about aiming for a 5k average. Since then we've struggled in the CEO department, I think Paul Brown may have been the man to take us forward had he not been forced to stand down due to illness, but Paul Blanchard and Gus have been a waste of space.

Agree with you, KF.

The rot set in way before Gus rocked up...we have just been getting more and more skint and the objectives have been harder to obtain every year that goes by.

We've had a disastrous mix of hopeless CEOs, hopeless teams, and hopeless coaches for the last few years. Perfect storm of sporting failure.
