So AFAYK, London Broncos aren't based at Underhill any more and where the "New Offices" were going to be, there is now only a canopy Keep us posted.....sounds like negotiations are getting to the interesting stage now. Maybe everyone could "hot desk"? Or we could have a port-a-cabin beside the actual offices as we did when we were at the Stoop the first time? Brave new dawn......brave new dawn
New training venue sorted, playing venue sorted, off field staff greatly improved, on field personel greatly improved in personality and spirit, kit brilliant, sponsors and partners sorted, fans more engaged, so on the whole a great improvement.
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

...different from 2014's though and we're office-less at present it would seem.

..indeed, but exact financials still to be confirmed by the club.

Harold Shipman and Charles Manson would have been an improvement on MacKay and let's not forget, Hughes is still "lurking"....and this team have no office to call their own apparently.

...lol.....really, personality and spirit? I'd rather they were all pig ignorant but could play at the highest level....

Whilst I like the Kit, it's still not in the shop and it has that god awful blue badge on it. I'm not as easily pleased as you it would seem.....

Yep...and I think these ones (some of them anyway) might be paying for the honour.

The ability to relay information through the website and social media is a basic function of anyone who wishes to engage with their customers. Feel free to get a hard on for it, but I won't be applauding getting the basics right.

Nope....it's an improvement, but nowhere near GREAT. It may have escaped your attention, but we have less fans than we've seen in 19 seasons, are preparing to play in a division below the one we used to and are still tenants beholding to a landlord and a single benefactor. Our replica kits will again not be in the shop for xmas, which is a key selling period as identified by the other 23 teams in the 2 top tiers, our ticketing for next season is still to be confirmed and if we are truly planning for the future, then we have little in place that points to us having found a home, but yet again, a venue that is already chopping and changing the terms of our being there.
Yes... I asked about the new training ground and as PC Plum says it has been sorted but the player I asked wasn't allowed to say where it is - not that it really matters. The strangest thing I've found, and it was the case last season too, is that there was and will still be ZERO training on The Hive pitch itself. Many of the new lads have yet to see our home ground in the flesh!! The only positive about the new training ground is that the dimensions are identical to that of The Hive which wasn't the case at Underhill.

all the pitches in the hive complex are the same size.....it doesn't take einstein to figure out that we will train on one of them.

I should've responded to this claim previously but couldn't be bothered.
My original post was regarding where Broncos would train and not claiming they where office-less. Let me explain.
As you can imagine Underhill is comprised of several buildings.
1. Pavilion Currently Broncos fitness gym and on land owned by the council adjacent to Underhill stadium and behind the Durham Suite. Not part of any sale. 2. Durham Suite Fairly modern brick built offices and conference facility in the South west corner of the ground. Has separate access from the rest of the stadium via an access road. This may\may not be part of the sale, but if it is then it is likely to be retained in any future development and usable while development progresses. 3. South Stand Modern 6 year old demountable stand adjacent to durham suite that Broncos currently use the internal space and existing plans are for it to be moved to the Hive to become the North stand once approved. 4. Main stand Old and full of asbestos, requiring specialist work to dismantle 5. Other Buildings North & North west turnstyles, East terrace and family stand are all unused. All will need demolishing to make way for whatever is built.
Hopefully this gives you enough to see that the buildings that will need to be demolished are not the buildings in use by the Broncos as office space. Yes I think they will need to move at the point planning has been approved and the South stand is taken down by, but that is not now. If demolition work is to commence then I suspect it will be to remove turnstyles and start dismantling the main stand

So we could stay there whilst everything is dismantled or demolished around us? It's like gus never left!!!!!
The pavilion, Durham suite and South stand have separate access with parking via priory grove and could be used while the adjacent site is prepared for development.

The player I was chatting to let the cat out of the bag, and so, respecting the clubs position I will say no more, but suffice to say, the venue is sorted and we will be there soon.

To be honest GF all your points are valid but frankly (and maybe I am easily pleased), I dont care. We are were we are, they are finally giving it a go, history is history (learn and move forward), I sense a real good vibe (I might imagine it), the players, organisation, engagement yesterday was first class, there are still issues, but this time last year .....
Sounds like everything was being packed to move last week. Not yet convinced they are off to the Hive. I'm sure we will find out soon enough. Either way I very much doubt they are officeless
