Skolars rent the stadium don't they? In that respect I don't think they are much better off than Broncos sadly. Look at the problems the refurb caused them last season.

The freehold of New River Stadium (or rather White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre to give it it's proper title) is owned by Haringey Council, and has been leased to Fusion Lifestyle for 50 years. It is Fusion Lifestyle who led the recent development.
So in reality, Skolars only have a rented facility.

The difference is that Skolars haven't gone out of their way to alienate their landlords, whereas peeing off landlords is one of the few thing Broncos seem to excel at.

My recollection from the time of announcement of Fusion taking over the facility is that Skolars have a long term secure tenancy at a peppercorn rent. This is a bit different to renting a pitch on a year to year basis.

Can't see how Wigan are squeezing Broncos out along with skolars, it's not as if any converted Wigan support in london are going to travel up to God's own neighbors and gods own every week, they may however get a taste for the sport and come and watch what is available in the capital
