Fair enough jbuzza, this thread has wandered off topic at times and I'll admit to being part of that. So to get back on topic, first post was
We are third favourites in the betting for the regular season 2016.
We are behind Leigh @ 2/9 on and Bradford @ 6/1. We are a long way back in third place, our odds are 16/1.
Next come Sheffield, now full time @ 20/1.
That's how the bookmakers see it.
I don't bet but those odds look okay-ish to me with a few qualifiers:
Are Leigh going to get all of their alleged signings under the salary cap? Doubt it.
Bulls winding up order, haven't investigated but these often come to nothing when somebody turns up carrying a fat wallet. However, Lowes has said that he has to offload a few players - squad too big as he says, or not not enough money?
Sheffield? Move to full time will lose them a few players, they have quite a bit of adjustment to do.
Halifax? Surprised they're not in the top three.
Broncos? Remain quite unpredictable with a few well-known gaps in the squad.
So, I'm glad I don't bet.
What say you?
