No desire t be a moderator. Want to get back to the thread title? So what do we think the score will be, i am hoping for 30+ points in our favour, and it will be good to see a home game!

Putting a number on the win or margin is a difficult thing to and causes issues, if hendo sets a target of 30 point margin and we only win by 28 is that a fail? I agree with you though it would be good to see a convincing victory to set the marker. With the pitch 30 plus margin would be nice

I agree, we just need to win. A win by thirty points would be good, but to win by just one would be good enough.

Sure and to be fair our defence is pretty good, withstood a serious onslaught last Sunday and stood up well.
You are only putting undue pressure on yourselves by saying we have to win by say thirty points.
If our defence and attack play as they can, the points will come.

My comments were "tongue in cheek" and intended to get the thread back on to rugby. I agree a win is priority, a good Winnie milling them or keeping them to a very low score and ourselves scoring a few tries. In addition avoiding injuries almost as important

On paper then yes we probably should win. However they need to turn up and produce the performance, it won't just be handed on a plate. Swinton won't be mugs, and should not be taken lightly. They will be smarting from last week. For us it needs to be a quality performance with clear signs in attack and defence that we really want to put teams away. How players respond to mistakes for example. Even if we did win by 20+ points, if we spend most of the game playing half heartedly I will be disappointed.

An unchanged squad (for a change), so we should be able to move up a gear. It's all looking remarkably positive for us.
