Furlough extended another month, without a season start date even hinted yet its financially crazy to bring the players back. Finding the balance is going to be intetesting

I would question whether it will be possible to get a full season in 2021. An Easter start looks quite optimistic.

Any failure to complete a meaningful Championship could give the SL teams the opportunity not to relegate or promote anyone. Never slow to protect themselves that lot.

Deadcowboys1, I agree. Either no promotion or the promoted team gets a reduced financial package, upon elevation.
As you say, The Super league clubs have to put their self interest to the fore.

When you say reduced package, what are we expecting this time....about 100 quid??

As I just posted on another thread, the offer from Sky is Half! of what they currently pay, but they do not want The Challenge Cup or lower league games right, no wonder it is so low, the Sky High Offer to RU to gain the deal with BT, something we would only ever dream of! for their rugby channel, League the poor neighbour as ever! Time for a shake up in the game.

Comparing RL and RU is pointless. They are miles apart. RL is run amazingly poorly in this country. Has only itself to blame. SL is a joke. Lets be honest, why would SKY offer more. I doubt there are many others out there competing with them for SL. SL is basically a bunch of northern teams and one french one. Where is the attraction?? RL need to look from the outside in. Why would people be interested??

Looking wider, the international game is non existent . England hardly play. Lets be honest, its a bit of a joke of a sport really which is such a shame.

RL has been very poorly managed for years. It is time for a huge shake up if the game is to prosper.

Trouble is you Can't shake up a game in which self interest exceeds a desire to drag the game into the 21st century.

I did hear some other internet broadcasters did show some interest, but it is difficult to know what benefit they would bring, I have Sky Sport & Amazon Prime, I do not have BT Sport, even though I have been with BT since I was 17, never once did they offer me a good deal?

Just wonder if we may have seen any improvement if Eddie Hearn had been given an opportunity? but then Super League clubs and especially those Chairmen who like to have power would not have liked someone powerful?

By the way something I found unbelievable Sky Sport RL blocked me on Twitter? a subscriber for many years?
