Magic & Summer weekends just destabilise the season. Not well attended & should be dumped as a not very good idea.

I see our former players filled their boots with tries yesterday, so not all bad news.

I'd venture to say that Danny Ward and Jamie Langley were the best coaching team we have had in London. A team far beyond sum of its parts that exceeded all expectations in SL.

Hard to disagree with that Buzz, particularly looking at what they had to work with. Tank Gordon will always be my favourite Coach though but he had some very good players in his squad. Let's hope our tie in with South Africa unearths another Mark Johnson or two. Not sure what they did wrong to tie in with us though. Looking at other teams tieing up with African nations, SA appear to have the booby prize. :D

Awful from the Broncos in France today. We need to get rid of the fitness coach (as coach) & bring in a proper one. Danny Ward is available outside his Union obligations.

Weren't Cas trying to lure him back up North?

Too true. Playing Toulouse at the Summer Bash is the gift that keeps giving. It’s like a 2 point handicap.

Which is why have an extra game is wrong in a league where relegation / play-off places are based on final league placings. Some clubs benefit from the extra fixture and others lose out. Not that I think it will happen because I think London have enough to get a relevant buffer above relegation, but if London where to get relegated by a point to Barrow because Barrow got an extra win against Whitehaven in the bash while London were to lose against TO would just be plain wrong.

Your boys looking very strong this year. Could be your year. Us not so much but we are better than last year. I’m afraid I think you will beat us comfortably but not a complete whitewash. We will see. All the best.

Thanks BT,

I’m still not sure we’ll go up. Will all come down to some playoff games at the end of the year and they have never been our forte.

Anyway I’ll be there on Sunday which hopefully be one step closer to the playoffs.

Hope you can sort yourselves out going forwards.

Cheers Grinder. Most of us on here count it a result if management remember to open the gates. Everything else is a bonus. Sigh.

If we lock out Fev (as in don't open the gates), is that a standard 24 point loss a la Covid days? I'd take that!
