It's true that Union has improved the administration of its club game no end, while we've had various fat idiots sat in Red Hall assuming that the garden is rosy just because the bit they can see either side of them along the M62 looks OK.
But spinning the move of Wasps to Coventry as a positive is taking it a bit far.
I think the fact that Saracens spent 16 years playing in Watford, 'London' Irish play in Reading, 'London' Welsh play in Oxford, and 'London' Wasps will be playing in Coventry is symptomatic of something else. It suggests to me that for the large part they've given up trying to promote club rugby in London (I discount the double header, that's their version of the Magic Weekend).
Thing is, given how we've moved around and couldn't market water in the desert, is it any surprise that we've had even less success promoting club rugby in London?
