2011 and 2012.
Income NOT from David Hughes or the RFL = £1,040,000. This is commercial (shops and sponsors), Matchday and Season Tickets.

Fans in attendance over the same period of 2 years = 77,000

Each fan who attended a HOME game was worth £13.50 each...........

2009-2010 same maths....each fan was worth £15.50 each......

He's lost us nearly 40% of our fans and also devalued the worth of the ones that are left by 12%......all in just 3 years.

define too expensive to get rid of?

Is he on a deal, say 3 year or 5 year etc? That was the question. Do you know,
Like when Brian Smith signed a 5 yr deal at Parra and they wanted shot of him after the second year, they kept him on another year as it saved them around 200,000 by paying him out the following year.

GF, you're just spouting figures and pointing out again, his failings.

IN MY OPINION....I very much doubt he is on anything other than a rolling contract, if he is anything other than an "employee" of the club, but if he is on a term deal (3 or 5 years) then it is undoubtedly the best bit of business he's done since he was let go by the cricket lot :D

If your opinion is correct GF, then I can see why you ask questions on why he's there. It doesn't mean I agree with everything you say at present about him, but he hasn't set the world on fire. (I await cheeky responses to this comment from many) And also why you ask questions of who employed him and why. A friendly tip is that it's just the amount of times you say it appears to be wearing thin.

I'm also aware about the problems not having a definitive answer until December has caused so many problems with recruitment. So it snowballed.

I'm still one of those people that are grateful we have a club, however we got there. And will blindly follow them as that's my team.

What were Broncos rental, staff and marketing costs in this period?

Cost of Admin, Marketing and Ground rental was £2,124,944 over 2 seasons.
The input from the RFL was £2,927,817
The input (covering of losses) from David Hughes was £4,052,441

If you're going down the "we've reduced the costs/overheads" route then good luck with that.

It costs £4,000,000 a year MINIMUM to run a competitive SL standard team.....we are £2,150,000 short of that after the RFL money this year.......in 2012 we raised less than £550,000.

There are no "quick fixes" and cost cutting to the extent carried out by the club in late 2013 is short sighted and short termist.

So the Hive has taken on the equivalent of over 1.1mil costs per year. I wonder whether the rent, ticket sales plus RL money covers that.

We will have to wait and see.

4 million to run a SL club........we need to find 2.15 million from other sources.........historically, those other sources have delivered 600k at best.

BTW, the hive have not taken over 1.1 million of that. The Hive are paid rent and admin costs by the broncos and a marketing stipend by the RFL.
The Broncos still have an expense related to rent and admin......total ticketing revenue in 2012 was 322k.....we lost 21% of our fans in 2013, so that was down to 255k last year.....200k for commercials at best......it doesn't add up unless you are getting ready for the lower divisions!

Why would I care how much it cost to run a RL club? You've convinced me that Broncos are unsustainable and Hughes has said in a recent interview that he's had enough of propping up the club so there is no future.

All I'm interested is how much costs the Hive have taken on and how much money they can potentially make from Broncos being at the Hive. As I see it Broncos have shed 1.1mil of costs onto the Hive. Whether the Hive choose to spend the same amount as Broncos did if a different issue, I doubt they will as if they did then I doubt they would make money from the deal
