Bribery is a criminal offence, to acuse someone is libel! So I refuse to comment.
Interesting you ignored the question option 1/2/3

Interesting you ignored the question option 1/2/3

Option 1. Losing 26 games destroyed the confidence of some younger players who have now been cast aside to make way for some of the coaches buddies.
The reality is that the man who destroyed the club now has an opportunity to walk away blameless in the eyes of some on here. Chirpy confidence of a good season in the 2nd tier seems to placate the few fans left, when in fact we should still be in sl.....
If you dont think i am right, then do some maths......3800 average before hughes took sole ownership.....1200 this year. How many fans are missing......as in they couldn t be arsed anymore because the club was being death ridden. We lost another 1100 this year........but i am wrong in your eyes.
After asking for help and threatening to walk a few years back, hughes hailed his achievement of getting assistance......not money but assistance. In 2014 the rfl stumped up assistance and cash...CASH. it was a bribe to get AK to take us in.

As for 2015......sure, the team will win more than they lose, but fev arent the draw wigan are.....new fans will be harder to come by now.

Re: Homeless in 2015 : Wed Oct 08, 2014 12:01 pm
It's been a disaster, one monumental cock up too far resulting in us losing a HUGE portion of our fanbase, forever, and getting relegated.

I don't see any bright future for the club, we'll win a few games next year sure, but we WILL NOT get promoted and the lost fans will not come back, I expect if we get this long term deal signed at the Hive we'll be playing lower tier RL for the next 10 - 20 years in front of crowds of 500-1000.

Where there's life there's hope so you never know I guess, and I'm pleased we'll still be around, but it's such a shame the supporters have gone.

If we'd moved to the Hive with that support still there we'd be one of the strongest clubs outside SL with a real hope for the future.

Ah so you show your true colours, in your opinion then we should have folded last year and not played at all.
As you love your numbers so much, how would that have panned out with comparison fan numbers?
As for shattering confidence errrrr the difference is they played rugby league, not playing at all would have achieved what for players confidence levels?
Coaches build squads generally from players they know, if you consider that to be looking after his mates, then so what? It's what happens.
As for not having the draw of big clubs and fans on here looking at the positives of next year, sadly some of us want to watch rugby league, yep we would prefer it to be SL but it's not going to be, so we will enjoy what we can, constant bleating ain't going to change it.
But most of us obviously not including gutters are just pleased we still have the team to support

My true colours :SUBMISSION:
Believe me Michael, i would give anything to see a successful london sl club but i refuse to accept that hughes js anything more than a meglomaniac nice person who has killed us.
Id have rather the rfl had let lenegan own us, but the minute tbey said no, hughes should have ploughed in with demands for assistance. .....
The confidence of those players playing rl was shot......and that was before they were binned.
Skolars play rl.......broncos edge was that jt was top flight. 500 is tops in regard to next years regular seasons average........and memberships?????
Most of us? Wrong mikey boy......wrong. most of us are GONE. Close to 4k to close to 1k in 6 years.........lets applaud huges some more shall we.....after all......it is HIS CLUB

Interesting article
Very!!! Sounds similar to our plight doesn't it.

Over the last ten years we have made no secret of our determination to find a permanent home we can call our own. It’s a move we believe is essential to guarantee the long-term success of the Club, both on and off the pitch.

Unfortunately attendances at Adams Park have not been as high as we would have wished, or as we need, to survive as a business in the professional era.

Why can’t we stay at Adams Park?
We run a high risk of going bust. It’s as simple as that.

Adams Park was always intended as a short-term solution. The Club doesn’t make enough money in High Wycombe for it to be sustainable - for every £1 spent by supporters at Adams Park the Club gets 15p.

Over the past 18 months our owner has absorbed almost £10million of the Club’s losses. We are losing approximately £3 million every year. We cannot continue in that vein if we want our Club to survive and succeed.

Staying where we are would mean continuing to lose £3 million a year while awaiting planning permission elsewhere. The green field sites we have explored have a low chance of success. On average, securing planning consent, building new stadiums and the infrastructure they require, takes 10 years to come to fruition.

....very open statement. Compare it to the ramblings of the cricket feilding maestro and part time CEO who applauded his own efforts in the same area of business
