Immigration agents have direct line to the civil servants who deal with these cases. Post Brexit and In Covid, there will of course be roadblocks and delays, but we announced our intentions to go part time 2 months ago and the new dawn was known about a year ago, so there's little excuse for huge delays.
Immigration agents get paid to smooth the passage to a decision and even more to appeal if need be.
In terms of "working from home".....this is a paper trail process. If the applicant (and their agent) have supplied all the correct documentation, they will have been allocated a case officer.....it'll be a bigger issue calling us an elite sport given the tin pot nature of what we've become.
