I don't want to ignore any of the posters involved as all are usually well worth reading. I just don't want to plod through pages of the sort of stuff that preceded my comment to find the good stuff. The falling number of active accounts suggests I'm not alone.

We didn't go to Gillingham as David told the RFL he would not fund the club if it left London. As long as he funds the club we will be in London. Personally I'm a believer clubs shouldn't be allowed to relocate ludicrous distances, they should find their level or fail. Odd perhaps for someone who started out watching Prescot at the end of their tour of London and the north west.

Back on thread, taking a LONDON team 100 miles up the road, irrelevant of train price means that team is no longer a LONDON team, so the Wasps plan will result in a team that owns its own stadium with a new set of fans and very few of the existing ones! If that was ever the plan for London Broncos then fine, let them go I doubt any fans would follow we struggle enough with 10 miles across London.

1200 average will be halved again next year.......losing 600 fans but gaining somewhere to call home would be better for the club in the long run.

Any chance you guys can either set up dedicated threads the rest of us can ignore or take to using the PM system to wind each other up etc. A quick look at how few active posters we have these days suggests it might be widely appreciated.
A message board loses it's value when you have to wade through pages of people winding each other up to get at the facts

Yeah like the board was so fascinating when GF stayed away for a while.

Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.

I'm just surprised the homeless in 2016 thread didn't start up before the last 10 pages were added to this one.

I agree with you about relocation over large distances. I always say Union clubs are like airports, if they've got 'London' in their name you know they're nowhere near the place.
But more seriously, how far is too far? London Irish seem to have made a go of it in Reading, would somewhere like Milton Keynes have been a step too far for us?
