Well pointed out that some seem to only want criticise. Not happy about prices club looks to charge but still expect someone to cough up the cash for ready made first grade players.

Yes the club need extra cash and a main sponsor perhaps but reassuring in one respect that club are not dependent on finding that sponsor for team already assembled. Unfortunately we need to develop our own people and as Mac points out the Academy is maybe a little thin at present - hopefully a spur to those there to buck their ideas up.

Nanyn and Gardner have that opportunity to show if they have promise and can develop into SL players, they ain't in my first 17 at the start of the season but its up to them to take the opportunity they are being offered.

on the shirt front was there any suggestion as to what it looked like. Is it just a new home shirt (sic) or anew away shirt that was being released?

Shirts are the same as last year both home and away, just made by Puma with a different badge on them.

You do nothing but knock the club, nothing is ever good enough, tickets are too expensive, player signing not good enough. You have no understanding of basic finances if money doesn't come in then you can't spend it on big name players. Anyone who dares to disagree with you is branded an idiot etc. Well you had the chance to do something positive like volunteering to help and guess what not one word from you. Either put up or shut up.

Where have I said tickets are too expensive? I said the club were wrong in opening 1 stand on match day, my opinion, and many agreed. Players aren't good enough, many people agree with me there as well. Some of us can take off our rose tinted spectacles and see the real situation our club is in - a dire one. We have shipped out quality and not replaced it. It is not for me to understand the clubs finances, I was under the obviously false impression that Harlequins are a business and it is up to them to attract the finance in order to compete in Super League. Other teams are managing so we should be doing so as well.

Yer not one word from me indeed, I live 200 miles away from London so its a little difficult and impractical; not all of us live on the clubs door step and this doesn't remove my right to have an opinion after following the club for 12 years.

Hand leaflets out all you like, at the end of the day if our team is crap on the field and we are fighting it out at the bottom of the table then nobody will bother and in 3 years time the club will be no more.

Thats right, and I personally think it is good we are starting to get some coverage / competition for the team, remember how many times last year reserve players had to be called up because our first team squad couldn't cover it due to injuries and suspensions.
The Cas game at home springs straight to mind, and if signing these players just prevents that from happening again I will be happy.

Cheers. If both shirts are effectively unchanged not much incentive to buy a new one though might start to develop a bit of brand recognition given the number of away shirts around.

Anything said about players who had injuries or operations and progress?

Big Mac was up beat and cannot remember any mention of players carrying injuries at present, Seems He has spotted a way of playing that He thinks the side can carry onto next season. Lets hope the games are more Rhinos home and None of the Cas debacle.

Lister Not all the voluntary work is handing out leaflets etc there is a lot more to do beside that. Thanks for letting me know I live near the club I didn't realise I had moved house but that will save me driving to each game.

We have had offers from volunteers as far away as York there is plenty to do and it is not too late for anyone who would like to volunteer to contact me. If anyone has volunteered via facebook thjose names will be sent to me very soon

HAVE FAITH. McDermott is doing a sterling job, his track record is incredible and we have come on leaps and bounds since Rea left the coaching staff.

I suspect you are having a pop, but sometimes with you it is so hard to tell. Therefore I will refrain from using the word that is rattling around my head to describe a "third leg pole rubber" like you.

Please oh please go and "support" somebody else and do all of the "Rose Tinted Glasses Brigade" a favour.

We love our club, come what may! It will still be here in three years time, and it will still be here in another thrity years time. Stick that in your student bong and smoke it. I assume you are still a student? If not just delete the word student - my comments still stand.
